Meet Our Team
Gabriella Drago, Leisure and Lifestyle Specialist
Gabriella Drago has been a part of the Cleveland Sight Center for many years. From receiving early intervention services, to attending Highbrook as a child, to working for two summers as a Highbrook staff member in 2017 and 2018, Gabriella's dedication to the Sight Center and Highbrook mission is undeniable. Before completing her training as a Board Certified Music Therapist, Gabriella served as the Music and Drama leader for the 2018 camp season, where she made musical memories that will last a lifetime. When Gabriella is not facilitating a drumming group or screaming camp songs at the top of her lungs, you can find her singing made up songs like a Disney princess as she goes about her day, or playing with her loyal guide dog, Freesia.
You will rarely find Freesia, a beautiful and spunky black lab, far from Gabriella's side. She might even love camp more than Gabriella does, due to all the exercise and fun outdoor smells. Freesia loves hikes, lounging in the sun, and getting lots of pets when she isn't working.
Kevin Pye, Camp Ranger
As the Camp Ranger of Highbrook Lodge for the past 5 years, Kevin gets so much satisfaction out of ensuring that camp is in the best shape it can be. He loves hearing campers say that they look forward to camp all year long – so he works hard to guarantee that staff are able to provide them with the best experience possible! Over the course of his time at the Lodge, he has worked diligently to maintain and improve the 60+ acre camp year-round. He also receives the same training as all of our summer-staff members, and upholds several certifications (like CPR, AED, and First Aid, and Certified Pool Operator).
Originally from Bemus Point, New York, he's called Ohio home for the past 38 years. His hobbies include riding my motorcycle, being outdoors, and working with his hands.
