BREAKFAST WITH SANTA
Cleveland Sight Center’s Breakfast with Santa has been a big hit with the agency’s youngest clients, children who are blind or visually impaired, for many years. The children arrive with great anticipation for this visit with Santa that is unlike any other; they not only talk with Santa and have their photograph taken, but also receive a gift from their personal wish list to take home. Children come with their siblings, parents and grandparents to enjoy food, music, crafts, and games.
Santa’s helpers include members of Delta Gamma, whose philanthropic focus is to assist people who are visually impaired. Delta Gamma alumni and Case Western Reserve University student members, along with other Cleveland Sight Center volunteers and its staff, work together to make this a truly memorable day for the children and their families. More than 200 children and family member attended this year’s event.
