Shown in the photograph below are Aaron Ross with his grandmother, Barbara Taylor.  Aaron is in his Junior year of undergraduate studies at Taylor University in Upland, Indiana.  He chose social work as his major field of studies, and selected the Cleveland Sight Center as the site for a one-month practicum to help him prepare to be a social worker.   With clients who give their permission, Aaron will accompany Ralph Johnson and other CSC social workers in their work providing supportive services that address the unique needs of CSC clients.

Barbara Taylor has been a client of CSC for many years, and recommended CSC as a site for Aaron's learning experience.  (Barbara also graciously gave us permission to tell this story.)  Four years ago, she told Aaron about the CSC's Highbrook Lodge Camp in Geauga County, and Aaron has worked at the camp for the past four summers.  Aaron is enthusiastic about his social work studies, and the opportunity to complete his practicum at CSC.  Once he graduates, his career goal is to become a patrol officer with the New York Police Department.
