"To empower people with vision loss to realize their full potential, and to shape the community's vision of that potential.”
Our programs and services are designed to empower our clients to move beyond limitations.

Cleveland Sight Center services reach over 10,000 people in northeast Ohio who are blind or visually impaired. The rewards of volunteering are many, and you’ll find opportunities that are certain to challenge you at Cleveland Sight Center. Above all, you’ll have the satisfaction of knowing that your contribution is making a difference in someone’s life.
BECOME A VOLUNTEER
A Rewarding Experience
While your volunteer time and energy provide a valuable service for someone in need, you gain skills and valuable experience for your resume and you begin to understand what it means to live with a vision impairment. As you contribute to your community, you also enrich your own life with new friends. You’ll be trained for your specific volunteer assignment, and have the opportunity to expand your experience through educational meetings and other activities. We match our volunteer needs to meet your unique interests and skills.
There are many ways to get involved with Cleveland Sight Center, whether you’re a person with blindness or vision loss in need of services, or a sighted person who wants to help others. If you would like to help, contact the Volunteer Office at 216-791-8118, ext. 4537.

Our volunteers play an important role in providing services to our community. Every department at Cleveland Sight Center utilizes volunteers to help us more effectively deliver services to our clients of all ages who are blind or visually impaired. Many of our volunteers recently joined us at The Corner Alley so we could say thank you to them for the tremendous difference they make in the lives of our clients and our staff.
